Our Story

I have always been fascinated by flight and am lucky enough to have made it my full-time career. The planes I fly are the results of decades of talented men and women devoting themselves to the meticulous analysis of countless details to get their aircraft off the ground and safely return passengers to their final destination. While in the cockpit, we use systems and checklists to ensure nothing goes unnoticed. We owe a duty to our passengers, their families, and our families.

This same meticulous analysis of information and implementation of systems are the principles under which we founded Sutter & Wright Capital Group. We chose to honor two pioneers of aviation in naming our firm to show what is possible through ingenuity, motivation, and calculated efforts. Our story is one of teams coming together to achieve something greater than any of them could have individually, bringing our investors together to access opportunities and returns we could not attain alone.

From the time the Wright Brothers completed their first flight in 1903, it was less than 66 years until Joe Sutter led his team to the first flight of the world’s most iconic jumbo jet, the Boeing 747. If that can be achieved in less than a lifetime, what can we accomplish to fund your retirement or create generational wealth to change the path of your family in the next 20, 25, or 30 years?

Our Vision

To identify and invest in multifamily and other real estate opportunities that demonstrate a high likelihood of providing a positive return for our investors through a combination of thoroughly vetted property selection, diligent financial analysis, and excellent post-acquisition operations.

We will work with like-minded operating partners who properly balance caution and entrepreneurialism, act and communicate ethically and transparently, and prioritize projects with the potential for improving the quality and accessibility of multifamily housing for existing communities and residents.

Our ideal investors are those who seek to place their hard-earned capital in projects that provide positive intrinsic benefits to the communities in which those investments are made while receiving sustainable and reliable financial benefits.
